Day 1: Arrival Entebbe (2km, 15minutes)
On arrival, you will be welcomed by the travel expert safari professional guide ( english speaking guide) who will give you the briefing and later take you to the booked hotel.
That will be your first home in Uganda for one night.
Day 2: Rhinos and Murchison Falls National Park (364km, 6hrs)
After breakfast you shall start your tour. Driving through Kampala, you proceed to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here you shall have a walking Safari to the Southern White Rhinos that have been re-introduced in Uganda. In the afternoon you will drive to the legendary Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s biggest National Park.
Day 3: Game Drive and Launch cruise on the River Nile
After an early breakfast, proceed for a game drive. This is a beautiful drive across savannah, Borassus Palm Forest and grassland down to Lake Albert where the Albert Nile heads north. In the afternoon, go for a boat ride up the Nile, to Murchison falls, whence the park derives its name. Enjoy these spectacular falls by hiking to the top of the falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7 meter gap and at the bottom you will see Huge Nile Crocodiles bask.
Day 4: Drive to Kibale National Park (370km, 8hrs) (Optional 2 Hrs Flight)
Today you will drive to Fort Portal to Kibale National Park. Along the way you will pass many tea plantations. On the way you stop in Fort Portal. In the afternoon you will arrive at your accommodation.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking, Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (120km, 3hrs)
After breakfast you will go for Chimp tracking and enjoy a wonderful forest experience. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. After lunch you shall proceed to Queen Elisabeth National Park, enjoy a game drive on your way in. Named after her Majesty the Queen of England, it is Uganda’s most popular and most scenic game reserves.
Day 6: Game Drive, Boat Ride on the Kazinga Channel
Have an Early Morning Game Drive. There are over 100 mammal species that include Lions, Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, Elephants and the elusive Giant Forest Hog in this park. In the afternoon, you shall have a boat ride on Kazinga Channel. Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any game park, from the open Savannah to Rain Forest, dense Papyrus Swamps and Crater Lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward.
Day 7: Game Drive in Ishasha, Drive to Bwindi (152km, 4hrs)
Depart for Bwindi National park in the morning on your way; you will have a chance to have a game drive in Ishasha Wilderness where the Tree Climbing Lions are found, then continue to the home of the Mountain Gorillas. Of Uganda’s forested parks, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is best known for gorilla tracking, but it also provides refuge to elephants, chimpanzees, monkeys and various small antelopes, as well as 23 bird species restricted to the Albertine.
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking
This morning you will get up early for gorilla trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours, but is well worth the effort. As an alternative to gorilla trekking, there are several walks that can take you. The Mubwindi Swamp Trail takes about 3 hours and goes through parts of the park where there are elephants. Another 6-hour hike leads up to the peak in Rwamunyoni to 2.607m. In the afternoon you shall visit a Gorilla clinic and interact with a Mountain Gorilla expert.
Day 9: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park, Evening Game Drive (244km, 5 Hrs)
Today, drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Even at the entrance to the park you can watch impalas and zebras. You will have a game drive as you enter the park. This diversity of habitats has the diversity of bird life with 313 bird species recorded in the park, including flame head Barbet, Long-tailed Zitting Cisticola (Tabora), African Bins Rail, Collared Barbet, binding Bush singer among others. Day 10: Nature Walk or Horse Riding, Drive Back to Entebbe (271km, 4hrs)
You will get up early morning for a guided nature walk or 1 hour Horse Riding Safari led by an experienced Guide. Later return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. In the afternoon you will proceed to Kampala crossing the equator and later drive to Entebbe to catch your flight back home.
